A major social disease suffered within our communities relates to having negative thoughts and excessive suspicion about others, leading to hasty judgements, unjust actions and unhealthy relationships.

To address this prevalent phenomenon, Sayed Mohammed Baqer Al-Qazwini discusses some of the negative consequences of suspicion such as loneliness, missing out on good opportunities in addition to the health risks involved. Furthermore, we learn the importance of holding favourable views on people, and how such an approach is encouraged and considered as an essential part of faith, whilst considering certain exceptions and tips to ensure a balanced approach is maintained between the extremes of blind trust and complete suspicion .
