Imam Al-Baqir (peace be upon him) is reported to have said, "Imam Ali b. al-Husayn used to stay awake on the night of Eid, in the state of prayer, until the morning...He would say, 'My son, it is not less than the..Night of Qadr [in status and merit]." (Bihar al-Anwar, v. 88, p. 119)

Join families of believers in North America and beyond for a communal event to commemorate this special night together! Following a short talk, we will Insha'Allah we will be performing some of the A'maal compiled for the night cited in Muhaddith Abbas Qummi's Mafatih al-Jinan, including the recitation of select Duas and the Ziyarah of Imam Husayn (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).  In this program we also plan to announce the winners of the Qur'an through Art competition, and the total amounts we were able to raise during this month for charitable purposes.
