The Night of Ordainment is better than a thousand months.
In it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, with every command. 
It is peaceful until the rising of the dawn.

Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) is reported to have said, "Whoever performs Ghusl in this night and remains awake through it until dawn time leaves aside his sins."

Insha'Allah we will be performing some of the A'maal compiled for the night cited in Muhaddith Abbas Qummi's Mafatih al-Jinan, including the recitation of select Surahs from the Qur'an, Dua al-Jawshan al-Kabir, and the raising of the Qur'an. The program will include contributions from youth and community members throughout North America.
