بِسْمِ ٱللَّه ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ كَلِمَةِ ٱلْمُعْتَصِمِينَ
“In the name of Allah,” the word of those who hold fast to Him,

وَمَقَالَةِ ٱلْمُتَحَرِّزِينَ
the speech of those who seek His protection

وَ أَعُوذُ بِٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ مِنْ جَوْرِ ٱلْجَائِرِينَ
I seek refuge in Allah, high exalted is He, from the injustice of the unjust,

وَكَيْدِ ٱلْحَاسِدِينَ
the trickery of the enviers,

وَبَغْيِ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ
and the oppression of the wrongdoers,

وَ أَحْمَدُهُ فَوْقَ حَمْدِ ٱلْحَامِدِينَ
and I praise Him beyond the praise of the praisers!

اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ ٱلْوَاحِدُ بِلا شَرِيكٍ
O Allah, You are the One without partner,

وَٱلْمَلِكُ بِلا تَمْلِيكٍ
and the King without having been made sovereign;

لاَ تُضَادُّ فِي حُكْمِكَ
no one opposes You in Your decree

وَلاَ تُنَازَعُ فِي مُلْكِكَ
and no one contests You in Your kingdom.

أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ
I beseech You to bless Muhammad

عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ
Your servant and Your messenger,

وَأَنْ تُوْزِعَنِي مِنْ شُكْرِ نَعْمَاكَ
inspire me with a thanksgiving for Your favors

مَا تَبْلُغُ بِي غَايَةَ رِضَاكَ
that You take to the utmost limit of Your good pleasure,

وَأَنْ تُعِينَنِي عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَ
help me to obey You,

وَلُزُومِ عِبَادَتِكَ
hold fast to worshiping You,

وَٱسْتِحْقَاقِ مَثُوبَتِكَ
and deserve Your reward,

بِلُطْفِ عِنَايَتِكَ
through the gentleness of Your solicitude

روى الكفعمي في المصباح دعاءاً ، وقال : قد أورد السيد ابن طاووس هذا الدعاء للأمن من السلطان والبلاء وظهور الأعداء ولخوف الفقر وضيق الصدر ، وهو من أدعية الصحيفة السجادية فادع به إذا خفت أن يضرّك شي مما ذكر ، وهو هذا الدعاء :

يا مَنْ تُحَلُّ به عُقَدُ المَكارِهِ وَيا مَنْ يُفْثَاءُ بِهِ حَدُّ الشَّدائِدِ وَيا مَنْ يُلْتَمَسُ مُنْهُ المَخْرَجُ إِلى رَوْح الفَرَجِ ، ذَلَّتْ لِقُدْرَتِكَ الصِّعابُ وَتَسَبَّبَتْ بِلُطْفِكَ الاَسْبابُ وَجَرى بِقُدْرَتِكَ القَضاءُ وَمَضَتْ عَلى إِرادَتِكَ الاَشْياءُ ، فَهِي بِمَشِيَّتِكَ دُونَ قَوْلِكَ مُؤْتَمِرَةٌ وَبِإرادَتِكَ دُونَ نَهْيِكَ مُنْزَجِرَةٌ. أَنْتَ المَدْعُوُّ لِلْمُهِمَّاتِ وَأَنْتَ المَفْزَعُ فِي المُلِمَّاتِ لايَنْدَفِعُ مِنْها إِلاّ مادَفَعْتَ وَلايَنْكَشِفُ مِنْها إِلاّ ماكَشَفْتَ ، وَقَدْ نَزَلَ بِي يا رَبِّ ماقَدْ تَكَأّدَنِي ثِقْلُهُ وَأَلَمَّ بِي ماقَدْ بَهَظَنِي حَمْلُهُ ، وَبِقُدْرَتِكَ أَوْرَدْتَهُ عَلَيَّ وَبِسُلْطانِكَ وَجَّهْتَهُ إلى فَلا مُصْدِرَ لِما أَوْرَدْتَ وَلاصارِفَ لِما وَجَّهْتَ ولافاتِحَ لِما أَغْلَقْتَ وَلامُغْلِقَ لِما فَتَحْتَ وَلامُيَسِّرَ لِما عَسَّرْتَ وَلاناصِرَ لِمَنْ خَذَلْتَ ؛ فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَافْتَحْ لِي يا رَبِّ بابَ الفَرَجِ بِطَوْلِكَ وَاكْسِرْ عَنِّي سُلْطانَ الهَمِّ بِحَوْلِكَ وَأَنِلْنِي حُسْنَ النَّظَرِ فِيما شَكَوْتُ وَأَذِقْنِي حَلاوَةَ الصُّنْعِ فِيما سَأَلْتُ وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَفَرَجاً هَنِيئاً وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مَخْرَجاً وَحِيّاً ، وَلا تَشْغَلْنِي بالاهْتِمامِ عَنْ تَعاهُدِ فُرُوضِكَ وَاسْتِعْمالِ سُنَّتِكَ فَقَدْ ضِقْتُ لِما نَزَلَ بِي يا رَبِّ ذَرْعاً وَامْتَلاتُ بِحَمْلِ ماحَدَثَ عَلَيَّ هَمّاً وَأَنْتَ القادِرُ عَلى كَشْفِ ما مُنِيتُ بِهِ وَدَفْعِ ماوَقَعْتُ فِيهِ ، فَافْعَلْ بِي ذلِكَ وَإنْ لَمْ أَسْتَوْجِبْهُ مِنْكَ يا ذا العَرْشِ العَظيمِ وَذا المَنِّ الكَرِيمِ فَأَنْتَ قادِرٌ يا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ آمِينَ رَبِّ العالَمينَ.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

اَللَّهُمَّ يَا مَلاذَ ٱللَّائِذِينَ
O Allah, O Shelter of the shelter-seekers!

وَيَا مَعَاذَ ٱلْعَائِذِينَ
O Refuge of the refuge-seekers!

وَيَا مُنْجِيَ ٱلْهَالِكينَ
O Deliverer of the perishing!

وَيَا عَاصِمَ ٱلْبَائِسِينَ
O Preserver of the pitiful!

وَيَا رَاحِمَ ٱلْمَسَاكِينَ
O Merciful toward the miserable!

وَيَا مُجِيبَ ٱلْمُضْطَرِّينَ
O Responder to the distressed!

وَيَا كَنْزَ ٱلْمُفْتَقِرِينَ
O Treasure of the utterly poor!

وَيَا جَابِرَ ٱلْمُنْكَسِرِينَ
O Mender of the broken!

وَيَا مَأْوَىٰ ٱلْمُنْقَطِعِينَ
O Haven of the cut off!

وَيَا نَاصِرَ ٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ
O Helper of the abased!

وَيَا مُجِيرَ ٱلْخَائِفِينَ
O Granter of sanctuary to the fearful!

وَيَا مُغِيثَ ٱلْمَكْرُوبِينَ
O Aide of the troubled!

وَيَا حِصْنَ ٱللَّاجِئِينَ
O Fortress of the refugees!

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-compassionate, the All-merciful.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ أَرْجُو إِلاَّ فَضْلَهُ
In the name of Allah, from whom I hope for nothing but bounty,

وَلاَ أَخْشىٰ إِلاَّ عَدْلَهُ
I fear nothing but justice,

وَلاَ أَعْتَمِدُ إِلاَّ قَوْلَهُ
I rely upon nothing but His word,

وَلاَ أُمْسِكُ إِلاَّ بِحَبْلِهِ
and I cling to nothing but His Rope.

بِكَ أَسْتَجِيـرُ يَا ذَا ٱلْعَفْوِ وَٱلرِّضْوَانِ
In You do I seek sanctuary— O Possessor of pardon and good pleasure—

مِنَ ٱلظُّلْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَانِ
from wrong and enmity,

وَمِنْ غِيَرِ ٱلزَّمَانِ
from the vicissitudes of time

وَتَوَاتُرِ ٱلأَحْزَانِ
from recurrence of sorrows,

وَطَوَارِقِ ٱلْحَدَثَانِ
from the striking of mishaps,

وَمِنِ ٱنْقِضَاءِ ٱلْمُدَّةِ قَبْلَ ٱلتَّأَهُّبِ وَٱلْعُدَّةِ
and from the expiration of the term before preparation and readiness.

وَإِيَّاكَ أَسْتَرْشِدُ لِمَا فيهِ ٱلصَّلاَحُ وَٱلإِصْلاَحُ
From You do I seek guidance to that wherein is righteousness and setting aright.

وَبِكَ أَسْتَعينُ فيمَا يَقْتَرِنُ بِهِ ٱلنَّجَاحُ وَٱلإِنْجَاحُ
From You do I seek help in that which is linked to success and favorable response.

وَإِيَّاكَ أَرْغَبُ فِي لِبَاسِ ٱلْعَافِيَةِ وَتَمَامِهَا
From You do I desire for the garment of wellbeing and its completion,

وَشُمُولِ ٱلسَّلاَمَةِ وَدَوَامِهَا
and the covering of health and its permanence.

وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ يَا رَبِّ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ ٱلشَّيَاطينِ
I seek refuge in You, O my Lord, from the evil suggestions of the devils.

وَ أَحْتَرِزُ بِسُلْطَانِكَ مِنْ جَوْرِ ٱلسَّلاَطِينِ
I seek protection in Your sovereignty from the injustice of the sovereigns.

O Allah, Thou
خَلَقْتَنِىْ سَوِيًّا
created me without fault,
وَ رَبَّيْتَنِىْ مَكْفِيًّا
nurtured me when small,
وَ رَزَقْتَنِيْ مَكْفِيًّا
and provided me with sufficiency.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ وَ جَدْتُ فِيْمَآ
O Allah, I found in the Book
اَنْزَلْتَ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ
which Thou sent down
وَ يَشَّرْتَ بِهٖ عِبَادَكَ
and through which Thou gave good news to Thy servants,
اَنْ قُلْتَ
that Thou said,
يَاعِبَادِىَ الَّذِيْنَ اَسْرَفُوْا عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوْا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللهِ
O My servants who hare been prodigal against yourselves, do not despair of Allah�s mercy,
اِنَّ اللهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ جَمِيْعًا
surely Allah forgives all sins,[329]
وَ قَدْ تَقَدَّمَ مِنِّىْ مَا قَدْ عَلِمْتَ وَمَآ اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِهٖ مِنِّىْ
but there has gone ahead from me what Thou knowest (and of which Thou knowest more than I)!
فَيَا سَوْ اَتَامِمَّا اَحْصَاهُ عَلَىَّ كِتَابُكَ
O the shame of what Thy Book has counted against me!
فَلَوْلَا الْمَوَاقِفُ الَّتِىْ اُؤَمِّلُ مِنْ عَفْوِكَ الَّذِىْ شَمِلَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ لَاَلْقَيْتُ بِيَدِىْ
Were it not for the places where I expectantly hope for Thy pardon, which enfolds all things, I would have thrown myself down [in despair]!
وَ لَوْ اَنَّ اَحَدًا اسْتَطَاعَ الْهَرَبَ مِنْ رَّبِّهٖ لَكُنْتُ اَنَا اَحَقَّ بِالْهَرَبِ مِنْكَ
Were anyone able to flee from his Lord, I would be the most obligated to flee from Thee!
وَ اَنْتَ لَا تَخْفٰى عَلَيْكَ خَافِيَةٌ فِىْ الْاَرْضِ وَ لَا فِى السَّمَآءِ اِلاَّ اَتَيْتَ بِهَا
But not a secret in earth and heaven is concealed from Thee, except that Thou bringest it.
وَ كَفٰى بِكَ جَازِيًا
Thou sufficest as a recompenser!

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ ٱللَّيلَ لِبَاساً
All praise be to Allah Who appointed the night to be a garment,

وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتاً
and sleep for a rest,

وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُوراً
and day He appointed for a rising!

لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ أَنْ بَعَثْتَنِي مِنْ مَرْقَدِي
To You belongs praise, for You roused me from my sleep,

وَلَوْ شِئْتَ جَعَلْتَهُ سَرْمَداً
and had You willed, You would have made it everlasting;

حَمْداً دَائِماً لاَ يَنْقَطِعُ اَبَداً
an endless praise that will never be cut off

وَلاَ يُحْصِي لَهُ ٱلخَلائِقُ عَدَداً
and whose number the creatures will never count!

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ أَنْ خَلَقْتَ فَسَوَّيْتَ
O Allah, to You belongs praise, for You created, then fashioned,

وَقَدَّرْتَ وَقَضَيْتَ
ordained and decreed,

وَ أَمَتَّ وَ أَحْيَيْتَ
gave death and bestowed life,

وَ أَمْرَضْتَ وَشَفَيْتَ
made sick and healed,

وَعَافَيْتَ وَ أَبْلَيْتَ
made well and afflicted,

وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱسْتَوَيْتَ
established the Throne

وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْمُلْكِ ٱحْتَوَيْتَ
and encompassed the Kingdom!
