In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy, which embraces all things; and by Your strength, through which You dominatest all things, and toward which all things are humble and before which all things are lowly; and by your invincibility through which you overwhelmest all things, and by your might, which nothing can resist.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْألُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيٍْء، وَبِقُوَّتِكَ الَّتِي قَهَرْتَ بِهَا كُلَّ شَيْ، وَخَضَعَ لَهَا كُلُّ شَيٍْء، وَذَلَّ لَهَا كُلُّ شَيٍْء، وَبِجَبرُوتِكَ الَّتِي غَلَبْتَ بِهَا كُلَّ شَيٍْء، وَبِعِزَّتِكَ الَّتِي لا يَقُومُ لَهَا شَيْءٌ، وَبِعَظَمَتِكَ الَّتِي مَلأَتْ كُلَّ شَيٍْء، وَبِسُلْطَانِكَ الَّذِي عَلاَ كُلَّ شَيٍْء، وَبِوَجْهِكَ الْبَاقِي بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ كُلِّ شَيٍْء، وَبِأَسْمَائِكَ الَّتِي مَلأَتْ أَرْكَانَ كُلِّ شَيٍْء، وَبِعِلْمِكَ الَّذِي أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيٍْء، وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الَّذِي أَضَاءَ لَهُ كُلُّ شَيٍْء

I am certain that You are the most Merciful of all those who show mercy in situations of pardon and mercy, the harshest in punishments in situations of giving exemplary punishment and chastisement (to the wrongdoers), and the greatest Omnipotent in the domain of absolute power and might.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَفْتَتِحُ ٱلثَّنَاءَ بِحَمْدِكَ وَأَنْتَ مُسَدِّدٌ لِلصَّوَابِ بِمَنِّكَ وَأَيْقَنْتُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ فِي مَوْضِعِ ٱلْعَفْوِ وَٱلرَّحْمَةِ وَأَشَدُّ ٱلْمُعَاقِبِينَ فِي مَوْضِعِ ٱلنَّكَالِ وَٱلنِّقِمَةِ وَأَعْظَمُ ٱلْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ فِي مَوْضِعِ ٱلْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَٱلْعَظَمَةِ
