وقد جاء في ملخص قصة العمل: " يشترى السيد أبو سعيدي فندقًا في جزيرة كيش ، لكن هذا الفندق ليس مزدهرًا جدًا نظرًا لوجود مطعم نظيف ورخيص يسمى فندق على الرصيف بالقرب منه والذي يجذب العديد من الزبائن. ويستخدم المسافرون الفندق كمكان للنوم فقط، بينما يتناولون وجبات الإفطار والغداء والعشاء في فندق على الرصيف ، ولا يتحمل السيد أبو سعيدي وجود مثل هذا المنافس، وهو مصمم على إزالته بأي وسيلة ممكنة ... .
